The President and the First Lady made a trip to church on Sunday on the day he declared a “National Day of Prayer” for the victims of the massive Hurricane Harvey. The Trumps attended services at St. John’s Church in Washington D.C. near the White House for about an hour.
Remember, Sunday is National Prayer Day (by Presidential Proclamation)!

Before he even left though, the President made a statement that sent chills down every church goers spine and even the priest too.
Here’s what he said:
“EACH OF US, IN OUR OWN WAY, MAY CALL UPON OUR GOD FOR STRENGTH AND COMFORT DURING THIS DIFFICULT TIME,” TRUMP SAID IN A STATEMENT. “I CALL ON ALL AMERICANS AND HOUSES OF WORSHIP THROUGHOUT THE NATION TO JOIN IN ONE VOICE OF PRAYER, AS WE SEEK TO UPLIFT ONE ANOTHER AND ASSIST THOSE SUFFERING FROM THE CONSEQUENCES OF THIS TERRIBLE STORM.”
Now that’s what a president does! Brings attention to those in this country who really need our prayers and thoughts right now. The mainstream media will try to bury this story because they want him to look like he doesn’t care about the victims. That could be further from the truth.
Now watch what happens as he was leaving the church. (Watch until the end)
