The “mailman’s son” is back and it looks like he is gearing up to make another run for President.
John Kasich, who talked about his mailman father in every boring speech he ever gave, seems to be planning another failed run for the presidency based on an uptick in a super PAC that supports him and his appearances on television as well. From The Daily Caller:
Kasich recently embarked on a tour promoting a new campaign-style book and is widely thought within political circles to be positioning himself to challenge President Trump in the 2020 election.
The super PAC, which did not return a request for comment, began regularly emailing supporters late last May, soliciting donations and promoting Kasich’s messaging on national issues — health care in particular. The super PAC has been offering signed copies of Kasich’s book in exchange for $150 donations.
Kasich’s book, “Two Paths: America Divided or United, ” is meant to contrast Kasich’s vision for America with that of Trump, whom Kasich says he refused to endorse because he couldn’t stand in front of his wife and daughters “and look them in the eye and tell them I supported this man.”
He added: “I could not condone how he seemed to treat women and immigrants and minorities.”
Kasich is the craptastic governor of Ohio who did an end run around the legislature and the people of Ohio by shoving Obamacare’s Medicaid Expansion down their throats when they clearly didn’t want it. Kasich likes to talk about bipartisanship when he rules Ohio like a tyrant. Not only that but because of what Kasich did, the state’s budget has literally exploded because of his failure to follow the direction of the people.
The only state Kasich did well in was New Hampshire and that’s most likely because New Hampshire is dumb enough to allow Independents (Undeclareds) to vote in primary elections. (I can say that since I’m an Independent who lives in New Hampshire!) If you can’t commit to a political party, you shouldn’t be helping to choose their nominee.
Kasich is a true RINO (Republican In Name Only). Maybe he should run for the Democrat Party instead.
