Wray To Be The New FBI Director

President Donald Trump is making a few major changes, and James Comey was the first to go. The former FBI Director was caught in the middle of many scandals, and things didn’t work out for him. Comey first defended Hillary Clinton, but Hillary didn’t do the same thing for him. She even said that Comey took her victory.

James Comey was fired, and everybody speculated over the President’s pick for the empty position at the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Some even said that Trey Gowdy could take the position, but he denied such claims, saying that someone else should take the position.

Now President Trump finally announced his pick, and Christopher Wray could easily become the new FBI Director.

The President made the announcement on Twitter, and surprised Dems. They never thought that Wray could be nominated for the empty position at the Bureau. “I will be nominating Christopher A. Wray, a man of impeccable credentials, to be the new Director of the FBI. Details to follow,” tweeted President Trump.

Christopher Wray was assistant attorney general, and he oversaw the criminal division under Bush in the period between 2003 and 2005. Wray was the lawyer of New Jersey Governor Chris Christie in the “Bridgegate” case.

President Trump didn’t like Comey’s activities at the FBI, because he was too busy doing politics, and the Bureau should never become a part of politics.

“While I greatly appreciate you informing me, on three separate occasions, that I am not under investigation, I nevertheless concur with the judgment of the Department of Justice that you are not able to effectively lead the bureau. It is essential that we find new leadership for the F.B.I. that restores public trust and confidence in its vital law enforcement mission,” President Trump explained his reasons in the letter for Comey.

What do you think about this? Do you think Wray will be the new FBI Director?
