Karma Goes After Fox News

Fox News CEO thought that the termination of Bill O’Reilly would be the only thing to save his network from the scandal that broke after the host was accused of sexual harassment. But, it turns out that this decision could destroy the network.

Bill O’Reilly was fired after he was accused of sexually harassing several women. This was a rather shocking story, and Americans were also told that O’Reilly paid his “victims” to keep their mouth shut. The network did an internal investigation which ended with O’Reilly’s termination. His story is pretty similar to the one of Ailes, but O’Reilly was actually a target of liberals who were just trying to remove him from the network.

First, Media Matters convinced 90% of his advertisers to abandon the show. Then, O’Reilly went on his vacation, and he was eventually fired. Murdoch and his sons believed that O’Reilly could harm their network, and tried to open a new era. But, things didn’t work out well for them.

The Murdochs were trying to push the network into a new direction, and it seems like O’Reilly couldn’t just fit in the new idea.

Well, America doesn’t really like the new lineup, and we can freely say that the Murdoch family actually destroyed Fox News. Things don’t look too bright for them.

Fox News was once an absolute winner among all competitor, but now goes too low in the chart.

The “deadliest” part is the primetime. It attracted the most reliable audience. Nobody ever thought that the network would turn into this.

Martha MacCallum’s “The Story” lost 100,000 viewers in the 25-54 demographic to CNN’s “OutFront.” MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show” destroyed Fox’s “The Five.” Is this the beginning of the end?

What do you think about these ratings? Do you think Fox News will drop to zero?
