Rep. Trey Gowdy is appreciated for his habit to tell the truth. We all remember how Gowdy blasted Hillary Clinton for her crimes. We know that he isn’t done with her, but it seems like Obama is the first on his list.
Gowdy was invited on Fox News, and he used the opportunity to say that the Congress won’t reauthorize the key surveillance programs until the whole “unmasking” issue is solved. He has every right to say this, because the problem has to be handled as soon as possible. We can’t spend more days wondering about the real cause of this problem.
Gowdy was loud and clear, and hopefully, former president Barack Obama will understand this. Gowdy is aware of his lies, and this is the beginning of his end. Obama lied to Americans, and it’s time for him to pay for everything he did so far. Gowdy won’t stop until every dirt is brought to the surface.
During the house Intelligence Committee hearing regarding the investigation into the Russian interference with the presidential elections, Gowdy asked Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan a few interesting questions on the matter. You won’t even believe the way this hearing developed.
Gowdy told Hemmer that he will seek for more information on the procedures regarding the unmasking of the identities of all the Americans involved in the foreign surveillance set by the US intelligence agencies. Gowdy revealed that other lawmakers will do the same thing.
Susan Rice requested to unmask the names of all the officials involved in the “incidental” surveillance. Top intelligence and national security officials distributed this information, and you know the end of the cycle.
“That is a privilege to be able to request that a U.S. person’s name be unmasked. I want to know who’s making the request [and] what is the evidentiary basis of that request? And if it’s late in your tenure – like the day before you leave office – that should send off alarms and sirens in your head as to why that person did it,” Gowdy said.
What do you think about this? Do you think Gowdy is right?
